Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was first a part of Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering numerous knee injuries throughout many years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first to play in a union rugby game for women played in New South Wales as was the main focus of that match against Queensland. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio presenter, appearing frequently on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of being a representative of Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos player who played in rugby league for many years but had to stop her career early due to her tearing her ACL for the fourth time. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament in the same knee while she was a teenager and a 20-year-old and after a fourth tear this meant that Ferguson's playing time was up. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's playmaker. She had to resign due to her fourth ACL left injury. Ferguson confirmed to The Courier Mail that she had the injury while training in the month of November. She has been a female player of the Women's Rugby League throughout the years.
